Error:
'The step cannot be saved as it has been opened in another window'
Please try the following steps to resolve the issue of being unable to save the workflow step:
Open or resume a step. The system might briefly hang or freeze while loading, especially if it's a large step. This can make a mouse click seem ineffective, which might prompt you to click again, thereby opening two of the same database connections.
Check for duplicated forms. If forms are duplicated, please raise a new case.
Verify if multiple workers are attempting to work on the step simultaneously.
Ensure that the step isn't already open in the background while trying to open it again.
Check if the user's session is already locked with this step (visible in the "locks manager"), or if there are any "expired sessions" for this step.
If the issue persists, please proceed to raise a new case online and refer to the title of this article.
