Error:
‘You cannot start work of this type.
Another worker has already initiated work which alters the care package
type [based on your site] care package.’
If you can’t start a workstep because of this validation box, you can fix it on the front end. It happens when a system lock tied to the Person ID and Package Type ID doesn’t clear properly.
To remove the lock and start your step, follow these steps:
📌Note: Try this in a test instance first.
Open the Locks Manager in Configuration Tools.
In the search box, type: PEOPLE%PACKAGE_TYPES
Check that the Lock Table column shows: Mo_Coarse_Locks
Look through the Reference column for your Person ID and Package Type ID.
They'll be separated by a % symbol (e.g. 123654%DEFAULTPB).
Find the matching row and remove the lock.
Try starting your workstep again.
