When an adult or child is deceased and the date of death is recorded on the Person summary, Mosaic can create incoming work for a worker or team, either automatically or by displaying a dialog to specify a worker or team to receive the incoming work.

Date of death notification is configured in Configuration Tools.
From the Tools drop-down menu, select Configuration Tools, Date of Death.
The Date of Death configuration screen will be displayed. The dialog has two tabs: Adult Notification and Child Notification.
Adult Notification tab
Enable date of death notification - Select the Is enabled? checkbox to trigger the workflow step to be automatically created and assigned to an identified worker or team.
Select the Notification step to start when a Date of Death is recorded from the drop-down list.
Select notification allocation method - Using the radio buttons, select which worker or team will receive incoming work from the specified step:
Automatic allocation - User recording date of death denotes that the worker recording the date of death receives the incoming work.
User defined allocation - Worker denotes that the worker is shown a find worker dialog on recording date of death to specify the worker that will receive the incoming work.
User defined allocation - Team denotes that the worker is shown a find team dialog on recording the date of death to specify the worker that will receive the incoming work.
User defined allocation - Worker or Team denotes that the worker is shown a find worker and find team dialog on recording date of death to specify the worker that will receive the incoming work.
System defined allocation denotes that the Find Worker or Find Team option will be displayed that can be used to specify the worker or team that will receive the incoming work.
Child Notification tab
