Reference data is used to capture locally required information such as case chronology categories, professional relationship types, gender descriptions and care leaver in touch recording.

To configure Mosaic reference data, your worker role must have the CONFIGADMIN System function enabled to access the Configuration Tools menu and CONFIGREFDATA system function enabled to configure the reference data.
Old categories are not removed, instead, an end date can be added to stop them from being used for new records but preserves the integrity of old ones.

  • Reference data can be viewed and edited via Tools, Configuration tools, Reference data.

The Reference Data screen will be displayed with the reference data types listed.

  • To add, view or edit a reference data type click the View and Edit icon on the corresponding row.

The associated reference data will be listed.

Depending on the reference data type selected you can View and Edit, Delete or Add a data type. There may also be additional tabs for selection. For example, Consent reference data allows you to add consent agencies, consent end reasons, override reasons and consent types across multiple tabs.

  • To add new reference data, click the Add button.

The Add new reference data type dialog will be displayed. The fields for completion may be different depending on the data type being added, required fields will display a red asterisk.
