The care leaver menu option becomes available when there's a care leaver in touch recording. The first recording is due at age 17, so it should be completed before the context changes to adult.

To make the screens available on eligible adult records, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure the previous recordings of Looked After status, Placement, and/or Care Leaver in touch are on the record. If these recordings were made in a system prior to Mosaic, they might not be present.

  2. Temporarily change the context to child. Ideally out of hours when others aren't working on it.

  3. Add the missing items Looked After status, Placement, and/or Care Leaver in touch.

  4. Change the context back to adult.

By following these steps, the Care Leaver menu should be available permanently on the record as an adult.
