Access assistance for your FABU Live Weekend

When you’re ready to go live with your FABU yearly uplift, we can provide chargeable assistance to make sure your weekend runs smoothly. If anything goes wrong, we can restore the latest system copy so your workers can continue without interruption on the Monday following the FABU run.

Please raise a new case online and reference this article with the following:

  • Include the weekend date you plan to do your FABU uplift.

  • The sooner you reach out, the more likely we can provide support, but we may not always be able to guarantee availability without sufficient lead time.

Running FABU

For Mosaic versions 20.1 and above, you don’t need much assistance from Access support or direct database access to run FABU from start to finish. These versions made the process more self-serve.

How it works now:

  • In previous versions, you created a batch using the Mosaic FABU screens. It stayed in the CREATED state until support ran a script to gather the forms and move it to PENDING.

  • In 20.1+, creating a batch automatically gathers the forms and sets the status to PENDING removing the need for support in this step.

  • Once the batch is PENDING, you go to the Job Scheduler to kick off FABU:

    Navigation:
Tools > Configuration Tools > Job Scheduler > Pencil for FORM_BATCH > Press Play button

  • Pressing Play changes the status from PENDING to PROCESSING, and FABU runs.

Reports:

  • You can pull a report showing the FABU results:

Reports > Reports Library > Mosaic Reports Repository > Mosaic Reports > Finance > Financial Assessment Batch Uplift Results > Select report and parameters

  • You can also run this report in the Admin Tool.
