This has been confirmed as a bug and is fixed in Mosaic 22.2.1.0 and from 23.1.0.0.
When a group case note has timed out the worker who added it is able to finish it from the timed out case notes widget. If they choose to ‘finish’ the case note without adding anything in the note field, an incorrect ID is recorded, which can result in the case note alert showing an unrelated group in the alert pop-up screen.
📌 Note: The case note is correctly recorded on the group and is not recorded against the unrelated group shown, but it can be misleading to users receiving the alert.
We recommend that all users are made aware of this possibility and ensure that they carefully check case notes to ensure they are clear which group they relate to. Until this is resolved, users should be encouraged to add something into the note field when finishing a timed out case note, even if it is ‘case note complete’ or similar, to avoid this happening in the short term.
