If the Shared Care Record isn't showing or the EIV (External Information Viewer) data view update hasn’t taken effect overnight for allowed roles, you can resolve this by adding the ASCGENERIC role to those roles in the front end of Mosaic. You can do this using the instructions below:

  1. Log in to Mosaic and select the Narrow Workview.

  2. Go to Tools and then Configuration Tools.

  3. Select Interfaces.

  4. Select EIV (External Information Viewer Configuration).

  5. Add ASCGENERIC role.

Mapping Roles:

If there’s no default role set, you’ll need to map a worker role from Mosaic to the external system as appropriate. If a default role is used, then anyone with access to the EIV can view the record. If roles are mapped, only users with a mapped role can view the record.

  1. In the External Information Viewer Configuration screen, click the blue icon in the Action column.

  2. Click Add new role mapping.

  3. Type in the external role code as specified by external application requirements.

  4. Choose the Mosaic worker roles that will map to the external role code. Multiple roles in Mosaic can map to one external role in the external system.

📌 Note: This information needs to be provided by the external system to establish the mappings. Then new entries will be added to the screen.
