If you’ve existing Child Protection – Information Sharing (CP-IS) errors, you must resolve them prior to upgrading to versions 20.1.5 or 21.2 and later. The improvements made in these versions help with future cases but don’t address historical issues.

Adoption records

Where you’ve adoption cases ended in the 365 days prior to upgrade, you may still see errors, as you would have received the NHS Number Inactive notification prior to the upgrade. These errors are rare however, as they only apply to changes to the name, date of birth or NHS number of the old record, not the record created after adoption.

If you require adoption errors correcting, please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.
