NHS England are currently consulting with Local Authorities on the possibility of including Child Protection categories in the Child Protection – Information Sharing (CP-IS) data provided as part of the interface with Health. We are aware that some of our customers have been involved in these discussions.
NHS England are working with software providers to establish how this can be included from a technical point of view, and we are providing them with details of this. They have confirmed that this is not a requirement at present, this is a consultation period. If the decision is made to include this data, we will be working with them to make changes to the interface to include this in the future.
