Mosdocs Help link

In this article, we explore why the help link no longer redirects to Mosdocs.

Mosaic versions earlier than 22.2.0.0 had the Mosaic help files loaded into Mosaic, allowing users to view these from the help menu. As we are moving towards including all guidance and Mosaic documentation within the customer success portal, we are no longer adding the help files in to Mosaic and instead encouraging the use of knowledge articles. We recognise that not all users will have a login to the portal and will only have access to a limited number of articles.

At the time this decision to change was made, it was not clear how few articles' users would have access to. As a result, we are revisiting this and considering the best way to take this forward.

In the meantime, we recommend you consider the use of the configurable link, controlled by the system property procedureLink - and the menu option, controlled by procedureLinkText to link to any of your internal guidance that may be of use to your users.
