We're currently aware of an issue where workers can see these options.
These users can't carry out these actions as Mosaic will show an error if they attempt to select them, and once they have navigated elsewhere so that the workview fully refreshes (e.g. to a person summary) the options will disappear.
Steps to replicate
If you're having this issue, it's likely that these steps were being followed. If you're following different steps, please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.
Ensure the system property restrictedPersonMode is set to actForAllowed.
Create worker A with permission to assign and cancel work and ensure they have a piece of incoming work.
Create worker B without permission to assign and cancel work and ensure they have a piece of incoming work.
Allow worker B to act for worker A.
Log in as worker B.
Click on the icon in the workview against the incoming work - menu will not show Update assignment or Cancel work.
Act for Worker A.
Click on the icon in the workview against the incoming work - menu will correctly show Update assignment and Cancel work as these are inherited from Worker A due to the system property setting above.
Go back to acting as Worker B.
Click on the icon in the workview against the incoming work - menu will incorrectly show Update assignment and Cancel work.
