Mosaic runs into issues when you add a future primary role for a worker. Additionally, if you add a future primary role, you can’t delete it later. This poses a risk if any roles change before the restructuring, as you won’t be able to remove any pre-set roles.
Given the potential issues with adding future primary roles, you shouldn’t attempt to perform this action.
If you have a larger list of changes that need to be made for a certain future date, we recommend engaging a consultant to create a script for performing a bulk update. This would ensure the process is properly scoped, managed, and fully tested.
