Where the Responsible Local Authority (RLA) is set to enforced or optional, you must, or can, add an RLA when creating a person in Mosaic. Whilst the Child Protection Enquiry screen allows you to create a person via the enquiry screens, if you’ve RLA configured, the expected RLA field doesn’t display here.
As such, you can create a child without an RLA selection, even when your RLA is set to enforced.
To replicate this:
Log into Mosaic.
Select People - Child Protection Enquiry.
Enter mandatory information and click Make enquiry.
Click Create Child.
To get around this issue, create child records through the main people menu, or add RLA after you create a child record. We anticipate that there are very few records added in this way.
