We've identified an issue in Mosaic where, when a delete date is sent from Mosaic to NHS for CP-IS purposes, the system incorrectly sends the relevant person's display name instead of the registered name. This only happens in unusual circumstances.
β
The issue happens when sending a delete date, which isn't necessary for most cases, and when the display name and registered name differ. In all supported Mosaic versions, a delete date isn't sent in standard cases, as the date is calculated at the NHS end. The only two scenarios where a delete date is sent are:
When a case added to Mosaic was incorrectly identified as relevant for CP-IS and then deleted. This could happen if child protection work steps were added in error and then deleted, or if a relevant looked-after legal status was deleted from a case. This type of error should be rare.
When a case has a data mismatch when sending the end date, causing a 365-day error. With recent changes to name recording, this situation should no longer occur if error messages are reviewed and addressed quickly.
When this issue occurs, the relevant error message will still be received. Customers should confirm data matches on both systems for the relevant records and then raise a new case quoting this article if support is needed. We can then manually insert the correct data into the table to be sent. A fix for this issue will be included in a future release of Mosaic.
