Error:

'Cancellation failed for action of type error when re-opening and cancelling next actions'

This bug has been fixed from Mosaic 21.1.0.0 and is also included in the Mosaic 20.1.5.0 patch.

For earlier versions, if you are trying to cancel the next action with a delayed start date i.e. a Future step. Please follow the below workaround:

  1. Identify the next action with a delayed start date, also known as a Future step.

  2. Start the Future step.

  3. Save and close the Future step.

  4. Use the Delete Step functionality to delete this step.

  5. Reopen the parent step. You should now see that the next action has been cancelled.

This process will allow you to cancel the next action with a delayed start date.

For terminating next action, the only workaround is to manually cancel the next action at the database. If you require this, please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.
