If you're having this issue, please raise a case and reference the title of this article. Make sure to include the following:
The person_id.
The step_id of the case closure step.
A suitable end_date to use.
Also, make sure you've ended all services using the front-end functionality, preferably via a purchase workstep. This will add the end_date to the service in the database and update all relevant screens, like the care package screens, service details, and service element details.
It’s likely that the service just needs an end_date in the person_service_tasks table, which you might not be able to enter at the front-end. Our fix is to add that for you via the back-end database. Just make sure you’ve ended the service as much as possible through the front end first.
