There are circumstances where you may be unable to amend, cancel, or delete a service or element. Often it can be a simple case of configuration that is needed to be enabled so please see if your scenario is present within the list below:

No Pencil (edit), Square (end), Cross (cancel) icons

If you are in a workstep and are unable to see the icons to do these actions and a 'Proposed' status this will be an issue that may have been caused locally by a worker that we will investigate for you and help with so please visit:

One off Cash Elements

If you have a one off purchase that is also a (petty) cash element you will be able to cancel this element however you will need a particular system property to be set to TRUE in order to cancel.

πŸ“Œ Note: To access the link, you'll be redirected to the Access Portal.

Please see the Mosaic System Property Reference

The system property is called:
canCancelOnceOffCashElements
Controls whether or not one off cash service elements may be cancelled after they have been purchased.

Once this is enabled you should then be able to cancel this element item type.

πŸ“Œ Note: For customers on later versions of Mosaic, with the correct permissions you will be able to amend these on the front end via the configuration tools menu.

Error Screens

If when you try to take one of these actions you are met with a screen error please raise a case with a clear screenshot of the error screen, a screen shot of the care package screen or provision and contributions tab within workstep, and what actions you were taking prior to the error.

If you have any further instances where you are unable to cancel off elements, please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.
