Alert functionality
Alerts are designed to bring attention to information a worker may need to know or action. This might be an alert that another worker has added a case note, or a system alert showing that there was an error uploading a case to CP-IS.
β
Alerts are designed to be acknowledged, to show that a worker has read, or actioned information from that alert. This should be something that they do as part of their normal working day. If alerts are not acknowledged, it shows that worker has either not seen or not actioned the information from the alert.
β
When a worker is unable to acknowledge their alerts, for example due to sudden unavailability or sickness, these should be picked up by another worker, or a manager where required.
β
There is no current way of determining which worker acknowledged an alert.
Bulk acknowledging of alerts
Currently, there is no bulk way to acknowledge alerts, as each alert should be a prompt to view or action information.
Historic alerts
If you have a backlog of historic case note alerts for workers that have left, you can raise a request for these to be removed. Please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article, including the names of the workers.
β
From Mosaic 22.2.4.0 a new flag is available in the database to mark an alert as NEVER_ACKNOWLEDGED and this will be updated when the Access script is run to update unacknowledged alerts.
π Note: This is a chargeable service.
