When you try to end a carer type approval, Mosaic checks whether any active placements are linked to that approval. If it finds an unended or uncancelled element, you will see the following message and will not be able to proceed:

The carer may not be ceased while they have current placements

What to do

To end the carer approval, you need to locate and end or cancel the active element that is preventing it.

  1. Check all of the client's services for element types linked to the carer approval type you are trying to end.

  2. Locate any element that has not been ended or cancelled.

  3. End or cancel the element, then attempt to end the carer approval again.

⚠️Important: If you have checked all services and element types but cannot find an unended or uncancelled element, please raise a support case and reference the title of this article.
