When you search for a person reference, Mosaic returns all combinations of that person's names and addresses. If the number of results exceeds the value set in the findPersonTooManyMatches system property, you'll see the following notification: 'Too many matches. Please enter additional search criteria'.

Resolve the notification

You can try either of the following to resolve the notification.

Check for duplicate aliases

Check whether the number of names on the record looks correct. If you find any duplicate aliases that can be deleted, removing them will reduce the number of search results returned.

Increase the findPersonTooManyMatches value

You can increase the value of the findPersonTooManyMatches system property to allow a larger set of results to display.

⚠️Important: There's no specific recommended value for this property. Raising it allows Mosaic to return larger result sets, but this may impact performance.
