Mosaic provides Welsh language support alongside English. When Welsh is enabled, labels, button text, field names, page titles, validation messages, and error messages can display in Welsh. The language applies across both the browser interface and server-generated content such as form validation messages.

Switch between Welsh and English

You can switch the language during your session. When you change the language:

  • All labels, headings, and messages update to the selected language.

  • The language setting is remembered for the rest of your session.

  • If a Welsh translation is not available for a specific label, the English version is shown instead.

πŸ“ŒNote: The language switch applies to your current session. Your administrator may configure a default language for your organisation.

What is translated

Welsh language support covers the following areas:

Area

Examples

Button labels

Save, Cancel, Yes, No

Page titles and headings

Person summary, step details, work view headings.

Field labels

Form input labels, date fields, dropdown options.

Validation messages

Required field warnings, date format prompts, length limit errors.

Error messages

Permission errors, search validation errors.

Date and time formats

Date display format (DD/MM/YYYY), month names.

πŸ“ŒNote: Welsh translation coverage is ongoing. Some areas of the application may still display in English while translations are being completed. Where a Welsh translation is not yet available, the English text is shown as a fallback.

Date formats

Mosaic uses the DD/MM/YYYY date format throughout the application. This format is consistent in both English and Welsh.

For administrators

Welsh language support is controlled at the system level. The application automatically detects the selected language and displays the appropriate text. No additional configuration is needed for individual users β€” the language setting is managed through the session.

πŸ€“Tip: If your organisation requires Welsh language support and it is not currently active, contact your system administrator to enable it.
