A notional element type cost unit doesn’t make payments. Wherever an element type cost unit is marked as notional, it won’t pay. Even if you include it in a payment cycle, it doesn’t process.


These units are only notional commitments, and you can’t pay them through AP (Accounts Payable) or by journal to the GL (General Ledger).
