Reason for removing old services from the system

In this article, we explain why old services are removed from Provider Portal and how this may affect Abacus billing and credits.

The Mosaic System Property "AbacusYearsBack" can impact the purchase order data sent to the Provider Portal and Abacus. In some implementations, this property was set to a default value of two.

This meant that after two years, Mosaic stopped sending purchase order data, which led to the removal of the data for the period more than two years ago from the interface.


As a result, the Provider Portal/Abacus system treated this as a change to the service order, causing the assumption that this period never occurred.

To resolve this issue, update the Mosaic System Property "AbacusYearsBack" to a larger positive value, such as 20, by following the below steps:

  1. Open Mosaic.

  2. Click Tool.

  3. Click Configuration Tools.

  4. Click System Properties.

  5. Search for AbacusYearsBack.

  6. Change the value to 20.

๐Ÿ“ŒNote: Next time there is a change to a purchase order in Mosaic, it will resend the entire purchase order again.
