The new functionality to allow users to record a 'start reason' for worker relationships in Mosaic is available from Mosaic 22.2.1.0 and was also included in Mosaic 22.1.1.0 and 21.2.2.0.
This functionality allows worker relationship types to be configured to require a start reason. This means that it is not necessary to add a start reason to all worker relationships, only the ones where it is required so, for example, children's social worker relationship types. This is configured in Mosaic via Configuration tools.
Existing relationships added prior to upgrade will not require a start reason but where that is needed, start reasons can be added retrospectively where the start reason is required on that relationship type.
Start reasons will be initially populated with the statutory reason list from the Department for Education but will be configurable by customers where alternatives are required.
