There’s a system property called billingFullFeeThreshold, which usually defaults to £4,000. That’s the cap Mosaic uses when charging service users after their financial assessment.
You can set this property to any value up to £999,999.99.
If you’d like to test a different amount say £20,000 you can try it in a test instance to see if it gives you the outcome you’re looking for.
If you're running Mosaic version 22.1 or above, you can change this yourself. You’ll find more details in the Knowledge Base article: Mosaic: Changes to system properties
If you're on a version below 22.1, please raise a new case with us. We’ll update the value for you in the test environment first, and then in Prod once you're happy with the result.
Any change to a system property needs a restart or app refresh. If you're hosted and testing, raise a new case and let us know which instance you'd like restarted. For Prod, we’ll apply the change overnight so it’s ready for you the next morning without disrupting your working day.
⚠️ Important: Once the change is live, you might expect the contribution amount on the Costings tab to automatically update from £4,000 to £20,000 (using our example). That won’t happen.
Mosaic doesn’t dynamically update existing financial assessment results. You’ll need to complete a new financial assessment for the service user to see the updated full cost and contribution values.
If you're self-hosted and below version 22.1, raise a new case and we’ll send you the scripts you need.
If you're hosted and below 22.1, just raise a new case with the new value you'd like to use. We’ll update it in test, restart the instance, and then apply it to Prod so it takes effect the next day.
