Before changing the memory allocated to Mosaic in Weblogic ensure there is sufficient memory resources on the application server.
Log into the WebLogic Administration Console (usually http://[Name or IP of app server]:7501/console) and expand Environment from the Domain structure tree list on the left-hand side.
Select the menu item Servers.
Click on the managed server e.g. mosprod.
Select the tab Server Start.
Look in the field Arguments for the following parameters -Xmx and -Xms. E.g. -Xmx6000M -Xms6000M.
Change the numeric values of -Xmx and Xms accordingly. The memory size is in Mb so -Xmx6000M would be 6GB. Ensure -Xmx and -Xms are set to the same value.
Restart the managed server. This will normally be scheduled to restart overnight. Should you wish to restart the managed server manually, then select Servers in the left-hand menu. Select the Control tab. Tick the managed server e.g. mosprod. Select Shutdown from the dropdown list and wait for the server to shutdown. Once shutdown click the Start button and wait for the server to start up.
