Primary address can be selected for a historic new address

In this article, we look at why a historic end-dated address can still be added as a primary address in the system.

This issue has been resolved with the release of Mosaic 24.1.0.0.

Steps to replicate:

  1. Add a person with a primary address.

  2. Add an additional address with a start and end date in the past.

  3. Select Primary address check box (after you have added the start and end date).

  4. Save address.

  5. You will find that the primary marker has been moved to a historic address and removed from the current address.
