There's no limit to the amount of data that can be stored against a person or organisation record in Mosaic. However, as person records grow over time, we are beginning to receive reports of performance issues when accessing records with a significant number of case notes and documents. This applies regardless of whether an external document management system or local Mosaic document storage is used.
⚠️Important: If you're experiencing slow performance when accessing a person record, this is a known issue that our Development team is aware of. Improvements have already been made to the Documents and Group Documents screens.
Planned improvements
We have an item on the Development backlog to explore loading case notes in batches, or paging results with a show more option or similar. This has not yet been assigned to a released version on the roadmap.
Reporting on data volumes
There's currently no way to report on the amount of data stored against a particular person or organisation record. If this is something you'd like to see developed, please raise a request on our Aha ideas portal.
